With Spider-Man designated as the superhero ambassador for this year's global observance of Earth Hour, children in Bermuda are being invited to come to Saturday's Earth Hour activities in Hamilton dressed as their favourite superhero.
And the first 25 children who arrive at City Hall in costume will each receive a young cedar tree, donated by SOS Bermuda, a local charity whose mission is to protect the Island's open spaces.

Ahead of the globally observed Earth Hour this Saturday, local sustainability advocacy group Greenrock is calling on residents to join in on the largest global action against climate change.
Earth Hour 2014 will be observed between 8:30 and 9:30pm this weekend, with more than 7,000 cities and 150 countries expected to ‘go dark’ by dousing the lights in their homes and businesses.
