electricity-cashEarlier this month, Government's Energy Commission approved Belco's proposal to change the existing fixed facilities charge to a graduated facilities charge. The change, which affects residential customers, comes into effect next month. If you currently pay more than $324 for electricity each month, get ready to see your monthly bill increase by $16.50 or $42. If you currently pay less than $197 monthly, you should see your bill reduce by $8 or $18.
