To create a template that can be used by other Bermuda schools; and which can be used by Greenrock as the basis of a “Green School Accreditation” Program.

A solar panel used to heat hot water tanks has been specially adapted to meet the needs of the Bermuda market.

The Silmline Solar Thermal Collector Hot Water System, which was designed by Solar Bermuda Ltd. in partnership with vendor and overseas partner Heliodyne, is a modification on the original model which was launched about five years ago.

Keep Bermuda Beautiful (KBB) kicked off its campaign to reduce the impact of cigarette butt litter within the City of Hamilton, with July 2nd being proclaimed Cigarette Litter Prevention Day by Charles Gosling, Mayor of the City of Hamilton. At Friday night Happy Hour hosted by the Fairmont Hamilton Princess, volunteers from the BePro group handed out KBB-branded pocket ashtrays to the crowd.
